Judge's Editorial Cartoon
Judge's cartoon usually has things confused. Today's cartoon makes fun of
Bush with barrels of red ink with the caption: "The good news is you're
going to be remembered for something other than the Iraq war."
The President cannot spend one cent unless Congress
votes to spend it and the President must spend every cent that Congress
votes to spend. The same is true for taxes. Why does Judge blame the
President for the red ink?

RUSH LIMBAUGH CELEBRATES 20 YEARS
When I got home this
afternoon, I made a final last look at your website edition to make sure you
covered the most important media event of the day. Forgive me if I missed
it, but I saw no reference to the 20th anniversary of the most important
media (and probably cultural) influence of the last 20 years.
Even though he's a
Missouri native, it appears that you have skipped his fantastic
accomplishments. Maybe it was an oversight, or maybe it's buried somewhere I
didn't look. Maybe it's in the print edition - that would be a great place
to hide anything.
But it should have
been prominently displayed right near the top of the page, in your boldest
display of letters.

CELEBRATES 20 YEARS AT THE GOLDEN EIB MICROPHONE:
- SETTING US STRAIGHT
- EVENING THE PLAYING
FIELD
- FIGHTING BACK
AGAINST THOSE OF US (democrats) THAT WOULD TAKE US DOWN THE ROAD TO
SOCIALISM
You've got 5 years
(if you're still around) to get it right for the 25th anniversary.

Tiller the Killer
I am a proud, "homegrown" resident of
this lovely city, but I do not appreciate the obvious bias of your paper.
Your paper has knowingly and repeatedly misrepresented many aspects of the
"Kline/Planned Parenthood Saga." I ask---Have you no concern for the rule
of law? Have you no concern for the lives of unborn babies?
My nephew, Karson, was born on July 18. He was so beautiful and perfect.
How could anyone imagine deciding just a few hours earlier on say July 17,
that his life was worth no more than George Tiller's abortion clinic? How
could anyone imagine that his precious life could've been taken on JULY 17
by George Tiller plunging a syringe filled with Digoxin into his little
heart which has been beating since he was around five weeks in the womb?
Yes, that is one of the heinous ways that George Tiller takes these precious
lives. I'll spare you the rest of the gruesome details.
Phill Kline has simply been trying, with much difficulty, to uphold the laws
that are already written on the books of Kansas! Have you read the law
lately? Instead of reading the law, you have attacked him as a person. You
have attacked him, unjustly, because you despise the truth that he stands
for! Enough is enough!
I would NOT wish to stand in the shoes of "Tiller the Killer" on the
judgement day. His hands are dripping with the blood of 60,000 babies which
he has murdered. It's sad, but the squirrels who eat the peaches off of my
grandma's tree are more protected than babies in the womb.
Having spoken this "piece," let me say that I have no plans to buy any of
your very biased papers in the foreseeable future. Why not try reporting
fairly for a change?
Oh, by the way, it's obvious that Phill Kline is "tearing it up" as DA.
Have you checked out his conviction rate recently? 70% or more?!! You
guys just won't give him a chance...hmmm, wonder why that is?
